We’re delighted to announce that CIC student Zhelong Zhang (Jero) has been awarded a 2016 CIFE prize for his outstanding contribution to life at Chelsea Independent College.

Jero joined CIC last September in our Pre A cohort. Reports soon reached the Principal’s desk  of a student, with albeit limited English then, beginning to assert himself in a very positive way amongst his peers and staff.  His house supervisor gives this testament to a student who has fully embraced the international atmosphere at CIC.  ‘It is a pleasure to have Jero around the boarding house. He has a bubbly, bright infectious personality which allows him to mix in all social circles. His enthusiasm to get involved in just about every activity going is commendable and shows his ambition to soak up all that college life has to offer and better himself as a person.  He can also knock out a tune on his guitar on request to cheer up a house parent – our vote goes to  Jero.’
