DLD student wins 2011 CIFE prize
Polina Hristova was awarded a CIFE prize for excellence in Literary Studies by Baroness Perry at a ceremony in March 2011 at the House of Lords. She achieved excellent A Level results across the board, and her A* in English Literature is testament to her great passion for literature, her voracious appetite for reading, and her ability to marshal sophisticated and culturally-engaged critical essays on challenging texts.
Polina's achievement in English Literature is all the more outstanding given that this is her third language, previously having studied at a Spanish school in her native Bulgaria. Polina is currently studying the first year of a Law degree at the London School of Economics.
