Bosworth students win CIFE prizes
Hannah Ye (see right) has been awarded the Bosworth College CIFE prize. She achieved A grades in all 6 A levels that she sat - Maths, Further Maths, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting and Chinese.
She has chosen to study Economics and Business with East European Studies at the University of London. Whilst she was studying at Bosworth she also found time to pass an Open University Course about Volcanoes, Earthquakes and Tsunamis and qualified as a First Aider, along with working as a volunteer for Cancer Research UK.
Her mother travelled to the UK from China to attend the awards ceremony and she along with Hannah's brother also an ex student at Bosworth who is now studying Mathematics at the university of Sheffield, are very proud of Hannah's achievement.
Winner of CIFE award for achievement in science, Oi Yean Wong took her A level exams just 18 months after coming to the UK and achieved A grades in 4 A level subjects - Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics together with an A grade in Chinese at AS level. She achieved an A grade in all her individual units with an amazing full marks in 17 out of 24 units taken. Oi Yean is also an accomplished middle distance runner and musician. She has gone onto study medicine at Newcastle University.
