COLLEGE COURSES

CIFE colleges provide safe opportunities for positive change. With their long experience of helping students rapidly settle in, wide subject choice and flexible course structures, they make it easy to move school and provide an excellent environment for a new start.

CIFE colleges offer a great deal of choice when it comes to courses. Not only do they provide a very wide range of subjects but they also build in an unusual amount of flexibility. Most colleges allow students to choose virtually any combination of subjects and it is often possible to take a course which includes several course types.

If you want to take an unusual combination such as Accounting, Psychology and History, most CIFE colleges will be able to help. If you want to join a CIFE college for the second year of A level, not only will you have a good choice of colleges which can provide the right A2 courses, but most will allow you to combine A2 courses with a new AS level or a even a subject in which you cover both the AS and A2 during the year.

GCSE courses are equally flexible, usually offering subjects such as Photography as well as the main-stream GCSEs, and allowing students more choice than most schools will.

Finally, CIFE colleges have in-depth experience of shorter courses unavailable at most schools, such as retake courses and Easter Revision.
