2007 results
Nick Roach with Principal Mike McQuin Bosworth once again achieved a very good set of A Level results with 46% of grades being A’s and 70% being A/B.  30 students achieved at least three A grades and there was a 100% pass rate.

Nick Roach (seen here with Principal Mike McQuin) from Northampton was one of the College’s success stories achieving 3 A grades to ensure his place at Cambridge University.  He said ‘I am thrilled to have achieved the A grades I needed, the hard work over the past two years has really paid off.  I can now look forward to studying Philosophy at Cambridge, I couldn’t have imagined that this was possible when I started at Bosworth two years ago!

Mike McQuin went on to say "We were hugely pleased with the progress Nick made, and he would probably admit that Cambridge wasn’t an expectation when he came to the College two years ago – but frankly there were so many personal successes this year – students achieving at the very top of their ability level – that it’s a shame in some respects to highlight just the one achievement."

£1200 raised for Swazi orphans
presenting £1200 cheque for Swazi orpha's centreTracie Van der Berg, a former student of Bosworth College, returned during the first term to collect a cheque for over £1200 raised by Bosworth’s students for the New Hope Centre in Swaziland where she now runs a pre-school.

The New Hope Centre takes in orphaned children, cares for them and provides them with an education. Anastacia, a young girl who was rescued from a life of physical abuse, accompanied Tracie on the trip and performed a dance for Bosworth’s students.
